Jonathan Baltera
Jonathan enjoys a successful career as a classical singer, opera producer/director, and choral conductor. Raised in Gresham, Oregon and Newport Beach, California, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal performance and choral conducting from Oregon State University and a Master of Education degree in Secondary Vocal Music from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He has performed the roles of Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Sid in Albert Herring, Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro, Golaud in Pelleas and Melisande, Harlekin and the Music Teacher in Ariadne auf Naxos, Papageno in The Magic Flute, David, in A Hand of Bridge, Robert in Dreams from a Summer House and directed Menotti's The Telephone and the musical Grease. His orchestral engagements include; Baritone soloist on the Dvorak Te Deum with the Suttgart University Orchestra, featured soloist with the Oregon Symphony, featured soloist with the Kurt Weill Festival in Berlin and Dessau, Germany and various other oratorio performances at Oregon State University.
Additionally, Jonathan has served as an assistant conductor for many University choirs, The Corvallis Repertory Singers and currently assistant conducts the Las Vegas Master Singers. Jonathan and his wife, Savannah, run a thriving vocal studio and he is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts in the voice area at UNLV, which he will complete in 2014. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, writing and composing.

Savannah Baltera
I teach voice lessons to all ages and abilities. I can teach a range of musical styles, classical, jazz, opera, musical theater, country, you name it, I have it covered. I have a Masters in Music from the University of Washington and a Bachelors of Music from Oregon State University.
